The Power

Just as fast as one can turn a light on or even turn it off, so is the gift of forgiveness available to each of us. We have the power to operative in forgiveness and offer someone else a second chance or even the chance to be forgiven and even forgive ourselves. To even release ourselves from the hold that unforgiveness would have one our lives. When we operate in the Spirit of Forgiveness we allow ourselves the opportunity to open up to new opportunities. Unforgiveness has a way of locking certain areas in our lives.

When we do not forgive when relationships have gone wrong it hinders one from trusting enough to receive true love. When we have been abandoned by someone, it can hinder our ability to see people as being able to stand in the midst of hard times. The opportunity to give up on dreams and goals are ever present, but the desire to see a thing come to pass is more valuable than temporary defeat.
